On March 26, 2026, Audrey Lassanske was named one of the first "Champion for the Arts" Scholars by Donna Walker-Kuhne, an accomplished author acknowledged as the nation's foremost expert in Audience Development by the Arts & Business Council. Nominated by Jeff Lambert Wingfield (Box Office Manager for CART Performance Operations at Montclair State University) and recognized by Wylie Hausam (Artistic Director of PEAK Performances) for outstanding accomplishment and multidisciplinary involvement in higher education and professional theatre arts, Lassanske was invited to speak about her passion for promoting community building, equity, diversity, inclusion, and access in the arts at "Champions for the Arts with Donna Walker-Kuhne", a conversation and Q&A event hosted by PEAK Performances on the Montclair State University campus.

In Summer of 2022, Lassanske joined "Bears for the Bond", a political action committee based in Brownsboro, Texas. Heading the social media and marketing of the committee and becoming a certified Volunteer Deputy Registrar to register more voters across Henderson County of East Texas, Audrey rallied with the organization to help pass a bond for Brownsboro Independent School District in the November 2022 local election. This bond proposed numerous updates to BISD's campuses, including Career and Technical Education facility additions and expansions, a cafeteria remodel and expansion at the Junior High School, and the construction of a brand new, state-of-the-art performing arts center.
The November 2022 bond was passed, and the last construction fences of the new performing arts facility were taken down at the end of summer 2024, marking the completion of all proposed projects from the community-elected bond. Classes began in the new arts facility in the August 2024, and the building has since hosted countless theatre performances, dance showcases, and musical concerts, community events, school district banquets, awards ceremonies, and more.
